Michael klinger redefining t20 cricket

Written by Pushpendra Albe

Cricket is a funny game sometimes. And the incredible journey of Michael klinger proves it. he has just made his debut, on a t20, against Sri Lanka at MCG. Most fascinating thing about klinger is that he made his debut for Australia at the age of 36, a age of retirement for most of the cricketers.

More interestingly, he was a part of the under 19 squad of Australia, during the 1997-1998 youth World Cup. And, as, if this is not enough, he was the captain of Michael Clarke, during his under 19 days.

And, this is something extraordinary, as when, today, he made his debut as a player for Australia, Clarke has been enjoying the life after retirement, in 2015.

And, by any means, it’s rather too late of a call for klinger, as he had always been on the verge, to get a national call. Especially in t20, As he has six hundreds in his name, in the format!

So, it’s just a myth, that t20 cricket is a format of youngsters.
