After the sudden emmergence of plethora of young player, both- batsman and bowlers, it is getting very hard for ace duo Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina to keep their places in the team India. And now, in a latest setback, both have lost the central contracts of BCCI.
The Committee of Administrators (COA) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India on Wednesday took a decision on the Annual Player Contracts and the most surprising was that Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina have been excluded from the list of central contracts. Raina was part of Grade B earlier, while Harbhajan Singh was part of Grade C.
Though, Suresh Raina has still been in the good list of selectors at least for the t20 cricket. He was a part of the team India t20 squad recently against England.
Harbhajan Singh on the other hand, has almost completely out of the favor, due to great showing by R. Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, as team India’s premier spinners.
