Nathan Lyon’s dominance over team India batsmen continued, as he again picked up a five-wicket haul during the first innings of the fourth Test between India and Australia. Now Lyon surpassed the great West Indian Lance Gibbs to become the second most successful spinner against India in test cricket.
Now Lyon is only behind Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan, who picked 105 wickets in 22 Test matches against India. This was Lyon’s fifth five-wicket haul against India in Test cricket.
