Former Australian batsman Brad Hodge has apologised to Virat Kohli about his remark on the Indian captain. During the fourth test at Dharamsala, Hodge had claimed that Kohli was intentionly out of the test, because he wanted to play in the cash-rich IPL.
but now, as it is clear that Kohli won’t feature in the few starting matches of the IPL as well, due to the injury he sustained during the third test, Hodge had no option.
“as a professional, I have great respect for Virat Kohli” he wrote in his twitter.
Hodge is the coach of Gujarat Lions in the IPL.
