According to highly placed sources, Legendary Sanath Jayasuriya is set to secure another term as the chief selector of the national team, though other three members of the selection panel could be replaced by new members. The term of current selection panel will end on 1st May.
The current selection panel also have Sanath’s former batting partner Romesh Kaluwitharana, as well as Eric Upasantha and Ranjith Madurasinghe.
The source said that the board is looking for new members, to be included in the panel.
It will be the third term for Jayasuriya as the chief selector. Source also revealed that recently appointed Manager Asanka Gurusinha will also be remained in his position.
