He is the most iconic Indian cricketer without a doubt and now former cricket skipper MS Dhoni is all set to start a new inning in his career. According to several media reports, Dhoni would be producing a film which is a biopic of Indian hockey legend Major Dhyanchand. It would be based on the life events of ‘magician of hockey’ who is globally famous for his on-field heroics and scoring 400 international goals.
Varun Dhawan has been reportedly chosen for this epic role. The film was announced in 2016 but there were no further developments on the same. The film is said to be directed by Rahul Vaid and would be co-produced by Karan Johar.
A report said,”MS Dhoni has already acquired the rights of the film and might produce it. However, it’s yet not clear whether Karan will be co-producing the film, but Rohit is very much directing the film with Varun.”
