The BCCI called up an emergency meeting this morning following the recent strikes in England. The city of Manchester was rocked with the severe attack took place during a concert of singer Ariana Grande. The concert was taking place in Manchester and as many as 19 people were killed in the explosion and close to 50 people were severely injured in the attack.
England is due to host the Champions Trophy in less than 2 weeks. Also, the venue for the matches of the Indian team is close to Manchester. This is the prime reason, as per the reports in Wahcricket, why the BCCI summoned all the senior officials to an emergency meeting today.
