After the Champions trophy is over, as it was expected, the so called Cold War between Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble took a new twist. According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, Virat met CAC members and also the CEO of BCCI Rahul Johri and General Manager of BCCI Amitabh Choudhary. He has cleared his view out to the members in the meeting that he is not in favor of Kumble at all.
the dispute between Kumble and Kohli is not the one to be repaired. There has to be a change according to the skipper. “Kohli is very clear about where he stands vis-a-vis Kumble. It seems the relationship is beyond the repair stage, at least from Kohli’s side. However, the CAC will now meet Kumble and see if a patch-up is possible,” the source was quoted.
