After he grabbed worldwide attention and applause in his first test series with allround performance, Hardik Pandya paid a glowing tribute to the hardwork that his father has put in over the years to help both him and his brother Krunal play the gentleman’s game by gifting him a Jeep Compass.
Taking to Twitter, Hardik posted a video which read: “So glad to see his face lit up like that❤this is the guy who should get all the happiness in life and deserves all the credit, my dad!”
Hardik’s performance in his debut Test series was the biggest positive of the three- match rubber against Sri Lanka, said Indian captain Virat Kohli after completing a 3-0 whitewash of the hosts.
Team India’s Chief Selector MSK prasad also praised the young all-rounder and stated that he could be the next Kapil Dev, if he will keep grounded. Pandya made a blistering century in the third test.
