Even though Sri Lanka team have blessed with plenty of rising stars, like Niroshan Dickwela, Kusal Mendis, Wanindu Hasaranga, unfortunately the team has been hitting rock bottom, since the Dayasiri Jayasekara- Thilanga Sumathipala combo started to rule the SLC.
With the growing pressure by each passing day, now they takes extra care, before whatever they do.
The classic example was visible yesterday, at the Dambula. Sumathipala and Dayasiri had been sitting on the chairs, with a group of visitors in the greetings room. Just then, manager of Sri Lanka team Mr. Asanka Gurusinha arrived, and sat on the ground casually in front of them.
Some people asked Gurusinghe to sit by the minister next to the Minister, but he did not listen.
But, Dayasiri got worried, as he said, “Rise up, or tomorrow it will get messy …”
When, Gurusinha didn’t take it seriously, both Mr. Dayasiri and Mr. Sumathipala left the scenario!
