As the team India already clinched the ongoing ODI series 4-0, Virat Kohli army chilled with their Sri Lankan counterparts as the two teams partied at fast bowler Lasith Malinga’s home.
Dhawan and Rohit took to Instagram to share photos of the team partying in Colombo ahead of the fifth and final ODI.
“Had great time with sri lankan boys at malinga house for dinner @ange69mathews 😊” Dhawan wrote.
Meanwhile, Malinga’s Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma said, Great night with great friends 🙌
A number of Sri Lankan players have featured in the Indian Premier League and have shared the dressing room with Indian cricketers. Malinga who has been a part of Mumbai Indians franchise shares a good bond with Indian players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Ajinkya Rahane.
The last match of the ODI series will be played on tomorrow, followed by solitary t20 on 6th September.
