Amidst controversy surrounding the toss goof up during the solitary t20 between India and Sri Lanka, SLC has said that Andy Pycroft, the match referee made a right call.
“#SLvInd T20I Match Referee Andy PYCROFT called it correctly – “Heads India”. Watch the video” SLC said on its official Twitter handle.
“We are confirming PYCROFT called correctly – we’ve enhanced the audio and confirmed, and Captain too has confirmed” A Top official told Cricket Age.
“The Reason for PYCROFT looking confused according to ICC is that Virat should tell him the decision first but Karthik goes on to interview” source further added.
There was a confusion, as soon as it revealed through the footage. Many were blaming Murali Karthik, the TV presenter, for the mess up, while others were putting match referee Andy Pycroft on the sword.
