Like a captain of a fast sinking ship, Thilanga Sumathipala has been trying everything to keep his loyals in his side, as the SLC has become a ‘Expired Medicine’ for Cricket fans in Sri Lanka.
In his bid to keep everyone happy, Sumathipala recently appointed a lady secretary to K. Mathivanan, the vice president of SLC and domestic cricket head, is an insult to cricketing body.
Reason is nothing less than shocking! That lady used to work in a Sri Lankan airline in past, but the management fired her, when she found guilty of smugling Drugs!
Even after that kind of track record, Sumathipala appointed her as the secretory of K. Mathivanan.
Though, this kind of things are not new with Sumathipala. Previously, it was Thilanga sending an underworld guy to England for the cricket World Cup, who died mysteriously!
