After Virender Sehwag commented that he did not end up with the national cricket team’s head coach job because he did not have ‘setting’, former BCCI chief Anurag Thakur said that his comments should not be taken otherwise.
“It should not be taken otherwise” Thakur told media during a function.
At a chat show to India TV on Friday, Sehwag had said, “Look I couldn’t become the coach because I didn’t have any setting with those who were in power of appointing the coach.” Sehwag had lost out to Ravi Shastri after Anil Kumble stepped down.
