In an embarrassing turn of events, SLC has found itself in Deja Vu for a very sensitive matter. The lady Secretary, Rochelle Baha of SLC Vice President K. Mathivanan is going to resign, after it emerged that she had a court case for drugs which is not entirely closed yet.
Sources revealed that Rochelle Baha came as a temporary receptionist to SLC few months ago.
Later, when HR department found that she is suited to be secretary, she had been appointed as the secretory of K. Mathivanan.
It was learnt that as soon as The Executive Members and Thilanga Sumathipala came to know about her impending court case, at the last EXCO meeting., other than all Executive Committee members including Thilanga made a decision to ask her to resign. Only K. Mathivanan was stlll insisting that she remains, for reasons better know to him. With all kind of crisis and pressure from all the corners already, largely due to the poor show of Sri Lanka team on the field, he didn’t want any other unnecessarily controversy.
Latest outcome is that the girl is going to resign, even though Mathivanan tried his best against the decision. It is also known that she has been accompanied to a leading Mobitel Company by one of Thilanga’s closes Office Bearers who is involved in the Panadura match fixing scandal.
