Sri Lanka selectors have named Dhananjaya De Silva as the captain of the Sri Lanka A team tour of West Indies while Young Charith Aslanka will be the vice captain of the side, Cricket Age has learnt.
Allrounder Dasun Shanaka, Sandun Weerakkody, Shehan Jayasuriya are amongst notable inclusions in the side, while Young batsman Ron Chandragupta is also being added in the squad.
Selectors have also included Roshen Silva and Sadeera Samarwikrama, both are currently in the Sri Lanka National team, in ongoing Test series against Pakistan.
Sri Lanka A is scheduled to play three 4-day Unofficial tests and three Odi’s in the tour. First test will be played at Trelawny stadium from 11th October.
