After the two weeks drama, SLC took a U-Turn and lifted the ‘so called’ ban from all 22 players in the controversial Kalutara-Panadura fiasco.
Cricket Age has learnt that The decision to lift the ban, so that they can play mercantile cricket, was taken solely by SLC President Thilanga Sumathipala Via mail circulation to All EXCO members. The Vice President of SLC and incharge of domestic cricket K. Mathivanan has been thrown out in the wilderness, as Cricket Age has completely exposed him how he deliberately plotted and conspired to manipulate the outcome of the inquiry.
Though, SLC intentions are still not noble!
The board overturned the decision temporarily to avoid the outrage.
Had the intentions were good, they should have taken action against the all involved parties, who wasted seven months to produce a false and bogus verdict!
The role of K. Mathivanan needs to be monitored in these entire mess up. Cricket Age exposed him with all the verified documents. So, stern action must be taken against him and his gang of Ravin Wickramratne and Chintaka Jayanath.
Ravin Wickramaratne, Aruna De Silva, Priyantha Zoysa, Chintaka Jayanath, TH Wijewardena, Bandula Dissanayake and the other members of Tournament Committeee, all are guilty in producing a false and bogus verdict.
Action need to be taken against Disciplinary committee as well, for not acting in the proper manner.
Without all these, this could be termed as another time consuming exercise by the SLC!
