After thrashing Australia, team India has another assignment on hands, this time against New Zealand.
The opening encounter of the series is scheduled to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai where India lifted the coveted World Cup title in 2011.
Obviously, Rohit Sharma is delighted to start the ODI series at his home ground where he has played all the age group level cricket.
“ It’s always special coming and playing in front of your home ground, where you grew up playing all your age group cricket. It Makes you feel good about yourself, not a better way to start the series at your home ground. So I feel its great that we….. I personally start the series at my home ground,” Rohit said during a pre-match press conference ahead of the opening ODI against the Kiwis.
