In a shocking turn of events, SLC has rocked with harassment allegations made by a lady from Dubai, as Sri Lanka team is on the middle of a Tour.
The lady, who claims to be an event organizer, has claimed that a SLC official offered her through Media box and tried to convince her to stay in the room, in the same hotel where he is staying.
The lady thoroughly denied his offer and instead posted the incident on her twitter handle.
Cricket Age has reliably learnt that SLC President Thilanga Sumathipala has also taken the allegation seriously and ordered for an immediate inquiry.
“SLC President instructed the CEO to call for an immideate investigation through the SLC Security & Ethics officer” A top SLC Official, who is in UAE, told Cricket Age.
“At a time when Sri Lanka team is going to be the first international team to revive Cricket in Pakistan, this kind of shameful act can’t be ignored” He added further.
Sri Lanka have just lost ODI series against Pakistan 5-0, and now gearing up for t20 series. The first two matches will be played on 26th and 27th while the third match is scheduled to be played on 29th October at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
