Former Sri Lanka player Chandika Hathurusingha, who is currently the head Coach of Bangladesh, is most likely to take over as next Sri Lanka Coach. The news went viral everywhere yesterday, and it has also confirmed that Hathurusingha has tendered his resignation to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
Not only this developments indicates the former ‘Shadow Coach’ is ready to return his home. Country, his few most recent tweets also suggest the same.
On 31st October, he congratulated West Indies Legend Cortney Walsh on his birthday. Currently, Walsh is the bowling coach of Bangladesh.
“Happy B’day Master! Have good one!🎉@CuddyWalsh” he wrote a congratulatory tweet on 31 October.
However, before this, all his tweets were related to Sri Lanka Cricket.

Thilan also one of the long time friend of Hathurusingha, and both have worked together for. Bangladesh team. Just recently, Thilan has joined Sri Lanka team as a batting coach.
After Sri Lanka historic win against Pakistan in the first test at UAE, he congratulated Sri Lanka team.

The same day, he also congratulated Rangana Herath on his historical achievement.
“Congratulations to @HerathRSL become 1st left arm spinner to get 400 test wickets #welldeserve” he congratulated Sri Lanka spin legend Rangana Herath after he became the first left arm spinner in cricket history to get 400 test wickets, on 2nd November.
The another notable thing is he was in Sydney, Australia after Bangladesh disastrous South Africa tour finished, and he hasn’t communicate BCB since than, but he was keeping an eye on Sri Lanka cricket.
