Sri Lanka Cricket President on 21st November has written a letter to BCB President Nazmul Hassan regarding the hiring of Chandika Hathurusingha, Cricket Age learns.
“The Cricket Committee of Sri Lanka has advised me to explore the possibility of procuring the services of Chandika Hathurusingha, in the event he resign from his post of the national Coach of the Bangladesh Cricket Team” Letter reads.
“The high post recruitment Committee is in the process of taking to Mr Hathurusingha’s lawyers to check on his availability. Therefore, SLC would consider him for the post of National Coach of the Sri Lanka Cricket team, subject to his availability to take up the said appointment” He stated further.
Hathurusingha met Sumathipala at SLC headquarter earlier this week and has explained about his present situation in Bangladesh Cricket, Cricket Age learns.
