Lahiru Thirimanne is a case of study for Sri Lanka! Former Legends hails him most technically correct batsman of their Country, his Board sees him as a captain material, and his national Captains, no matter who is leading the side, always backs him.
Though, the simple thing is that amids all these hypes and praise singing, Thirimanne is a total failure as a test batsman.
He disappointed once again with his below par batting in the ongoing test series against India. So far in the four innings of first test matches he managed scores of 51,7,9 and 23.
Sri Lanka fans couldn’t fathom another Thirimanne failure, and took him on their radar on Twitter.
