Sri Lanka newly appointed Head Coach Chandika Hathurusingha made a visit to his former Bosses yesterday. He was in Dhaka and met with BCB Officials, though he escaped media during the visit.
It was the first time since October that Hathurusingha visited Bangladesh. On Friday, Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) officially announced that Hathurusingha would be their Team’s New Coach. SLC also stated in its media release that Hathurusingha to take over as Coach from December 20.
Hathurusingha has played 26 tests and 35 ODI’s for Sri Lanka. But, he is a universally well-Known as a innovative and forward Thinking Coach. He has associated as a Shadow Coach with Sri Lanka team, during Kumar Sangakkara tenure as the captain.
Under his supervision, Bangladesh became one of the most competitive team in the world, especially on their home soil.
