Fast bowling Allrounder Dasun Shanaka and fast bowler Vishwa Fernando are the only two inclusions in the T20 squad for the three match series against India, Cricket Age learns.
According to sources, Only this Two players will join the team in India for the t20 series. All other players, selectors have selected, are already in India playing in the ODI series.
Dasun played all three T20 matches against Pakistan in UAE. In the last T20 match, at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, he made a sparkling half century, including three towering sixes.
He was also the part of Test squad against India and played first two tests, after being dropped for the final test in Delhi. Selectors didn’t pick him for the ODI Series, though.
Vishwa Fernando, meanwhile, is yet to make his T20I debut for Sri Lanka, though he has played two tests and Six ODIs so far.
Sri Lanka to play three T20Is against India. The first match will be played at Cuttack on December 20.
