England charismatic allrounder Ben Stokes, Australian Fast bowler Mitchell Starc and Sri Lanka Yorker King Lasith Malinga and allrounder Angelo Mathews are among the most attractive players who have will available for grabs during the 2018 IPL auction, to be held in January 27 and 28 in Bangalore.
The long list submitted to the eight franchises contains 1122 players. The most overseas entries in the auction are from Australia – 58 players.
South Africa are close behind with 57, and Sri Lanka and west Indies have 39 each.
From Sri Lanka, other than Malinga and Mathews, Niroshan Dickwella, Thisara Perera, Kusal Perera, Asela Gunaratne and Seekuge Prasanna are the other notable players to registered for the auction.
Worldwide, heavyweights like Chris Gayle, Hashim Amla, Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell are some of the other names to feature in the auction.
From India, players like R Ashwin, KL Rahul, Ajinkya Rahane, Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir will be up for grab.
