Sri Lanka under 19 player Kalana Perera, who is in the 15 member squad taking part in the ongoing ICC Under 19 World Cup in New Zealand will fly back home, as he has suffered an injury to his ankle.
The injury has occurred, while engaging in practices yesterday (16/1/2018) at the Kensington Park in Whangarie, New Zealand.
Sri Lanka Cricket’s National Selectors have decided to send Thilan Prashan Lorensu Hewa Wallekamkanamge as the replacement for Kalana Perera.
Thilan Prashan was on the standby players list for the U19 WC.
