Sriram Somayajula, one of the most prominent analyst in world Cricket, has been giving a new dimension to IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils. Just yesterday, on the second day of the IPL auction, he unearthed a new player to the world cricket, that too from a country like Nepal.
Sandeep Lamichhane, the 17-year old leg-spinner has become the first ever signing player in the history of the Nepal Cricket, when he was sold to Delhi Daredevils at his base price of Rs. 20 Lakh.
“I went and put my bet on Sandeep. I had earlier worked with Nepal Cricket” told Sriram, who have now been associated with Delhi Daredevils as the analyst.
Incidently, Prior to this, Sriram was associated with Sri Lanka team till August 2017. But, being worldwide notorious for unprofessionalism, SLC snubbed him without any reason.
However, within few months, now Sriram has associated with one of the top most team of multi million IPL and will get the opportunity to work with Legendary Ricky Ponting.
“In my career so far, I have worked with many Legends, but getting associated with Ricky, on of the most successful captain in world Cricket history, is like a dream for me” he said.
