Even after being best bowlers in test cricket, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have been displaced from the ODI team due to Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav’s consistent performance in the shorter formats. However, that did not stop Ashwin from praising the two spinners after they spun a web over the Proteas batsmen in the second ODI at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on Sunday.

India took a 2-0 lead in the series with their comprehensive win on Sunday, as Chahal took a career-best 5 for 22 and bowled out South Africa for the lowest total on home soil.
