Sri Lanka selectors have recalled spinning all-rounder Jeevan Mendis after four years into 15 member squad selected to play in the upcoming two T20i matches.
Mendis, 35, has played 16 T20Is for Sri Lanka and last played in August 2013 against South Africa. Selectors have also recalled Amila Aponso and Isuru Udana.
Dashing left-hander Kusal Perera has also been named into the squad, means he has fully recovered from the injury, he sustained during the tri-series.
Sri Lanka is set to play against the Bangladesh in the ongoing tour. The first T20 will be played on the 15th February and the 2nd will be played on the 18th February, 2018.
Minister of Dayasiri Jayasekera has given his approval to the squad.
