In an utter unfortunate incident, Sri Lanka Cricket board has sacked two young and innocent employees from the marketing department without any explanation, Cricket Age reliably learns.
Cricket Age had exclusively published on March 23, how head of marketing Iroshini Munasinghe lobbied against those two employees and convinced ExCo and president Thilanga Sumathipala to sack them, only because she doesn’t like them.
Yesterday, during the ExCo Meeting, even though Iroshini couldn’t save herself after Cricket Age exposed her, She made sure that those two employees would be sacked.
On her influence, SLC administration and entire ExCo has agreed to sack junior staff members, even after Sources inside SLC says that both those staff members are hard working and few ExCo members had opposed the move. But eventually, Iroshini controlled even them at the meetings and all agreed to her wish.
Iroshini Munasinghe will leave the SLC on June 15.
