Deputy Minister and famous actor Ranjan Ramanayake, on Monday, has called for a Press Conference to expose the wrongdoings of Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC), Cricket Age reliably learns.
The Press Conference to be held at his residence at 11 AM today, where he will present documents and evidence of some of the biggest scam and frauds of SLC.
Few days ago, Ramanayake claimed that a million dollar scam Of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) could be worse than the government’s bond scam.
“The Bond Scam was in Sri Lanka Rupees, while this scam has been in Dollars” he said few days ago. He further revealed that the scam involved fixing of matches and broadcasting rights and some cricketers had provided him all the details.
In other front, The Anti Corruption Unit of International Cricket Council (ICC) has also summoned Ramanayake over the match fixing saga. Few months ago, former Sri Lanka fast bowler Pramodaya Wikramsenghe made allegations of match fixing during the ODI series against Zimbabwe in March 2017. The Anti Corruption Unit has been investing on the matter, and has thus far questioned Former Chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya and Current Shorter formats captain Angelo Mathews.
