With the latest ‘declining’ of the invitation made by the Hon. Minister of Sports by Roshan Mahanama, Mahela Jayawardene and Muttiah Muralitharan, it’s becoming evident that Ashley de Silva – Crickets comic icon – has conspired to sabotage court ordered administration of Musthapha.
This is a burning question Why did Ashley de Silva take a proposal to the Minister knowing the turbulent history between SLC and legends, that too without first confirming their willingness which is the normal procedure ?
Ashley, who is known to be a weak administrator who does not have the character to stand for anything except his own benefit, tried to buy the Minister and Competent Authority with a Dubai trip just four days after they took over SLC. However, Minister Faizer, who is known to be a honest and transparent man, did not fall for that and instructed his Competent Authority to administer SLC.
Now, as Ashley has found Competent Authority won’t jump to his tune, in desperation, he had tried to discredit and humiliate the Minister to destabilise his authority.
