After Thilanga Sumathipala led administration departed from the SLC after failing to hold election on time, A Sports Minister Appointee Competent Authority has been running the show at SLC.
However, As the Cricket is continuing to suffer big time, Sports Minister is on the opinion to appoint Interim Committee.
“To be honest, Kamal Padmasiri, the Honorable Sports Minister appointee Competent Authority, is bound to shoulder the responsibility of all the matters related to Sports Ministry, as In total 64 Sports Associations comes under it.
