Legendary Sachin Tendulkar attended a special screening of Soorma movie, which stars some popular names in Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu. The movie is a biopic on the comeback story of former Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh. Tendulkar was full of praise for the movie after watching its screening with his family members.

The makers of the film organised a special screening for Tendulkar and his family as the Master Blaster attended the screening with wife Anjali and daughter Sara. Zaheer Khan was also seen at the screening with wife, actor Sagarika Ghatge.
Sandeep Singh is an Indian hockey player who was also the captain of the team. Sandeep, who currently holds a DSP rank in the Haryana Police, has been known as a penalty corner specialist. It was exactly 12 years back when Sandeep was hit by a bullet while travelling in a train and was hence declared unfit to play. The biopic revolves around the true story of his stunning comeback to the national squad.
