A new Mumbai Mirror report says that the wives and girlfriends of the players have been instructed to say goodbye to the players as they get ready for the three Tests against England.
According to the new rule, no wives and girlfriends will be allowed in the camp till the end of the third Test. “We’ve had four days of rest before settling down for the serious task ahead. The players had moved out with spouses, friends and relatives and tomorrow (Monday) we will leave for Chelmsford,” a team source told Mirror.
Anushka and Virat have been updating photos of each other, with friends and fans from England. Virat shared a cute new one on Saturday, in which the two are seen enjoying a great time together at dinner. “Meal with the bestest!,” he captioned the photo.
Also, Shikhar Dhawan’s wife has also accompanied him to England and photos of their outing were posted by the cricketer on his social media profile. But now, wife and girlfriends of Indian cricketers will have to say goodbye to their spouse during the England Test series because of a new BCCI rule.
