Graeme Labrooy, the former Sri Lanka player and regional ICC match referee, has expressed his happiness to see the women’s cricket prospering big time.
“Since last few years, Labrooy has been following Women’s cricket progress closely, as he himself is involved in the process as a match referee. He believes that women’s cricket too needs maximum exposure at international level” a close associate of Labrooy from Sri Lanka told Cricket Age.
“Even though he is an insurance agent by profession, Labrooy is very dedicated and passionate about Women’s cricket and always put his ICC match referee responsibility as his first priority” he further added.
Labrooy is in West Indies currently, performing his duty in the ongoing Women’s T20 World Cup.
