Sadeera Samarwikrama, the dashing right-hander, has been added into Sri Lanka ODI and T20 squad as a replacement of injured Angelo Mathews, Cricket Age reliably learns.. Mathews suffered a hamstring injury during the second test against New Zealand in Christchurch and has effectively been ruled out for at least four weeks.
Sadeera was part of the test squad, but couldn’t make into playing eleven. He had last played against England in the ODI Series and made an impressive half century as an opener.
The first match of the ODI series to be played on January 3.
