The Indian Air Force on Tuesday conducted a major operation targetting several terror camps based across the Line of Control (LoC). A group of Mirage 2000 fighter jets were brought into action as three terrorist launch pads were completely demolished, killing several terrorists. The retaliation by IAF avenging the Pulwama terror attack was hailed by the entire nation. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar also took to Twitter to post a message hailing the Air Force.
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, the IAF conducted precise air strikes on terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad’s launchpads in Balakot, Pakistan. The JeM had claimed responsibility of the Pulwama terror attack which saw 40 CRPF soldiers attain martyrdom. India carried out a non-military, pre-emptive strike on terror outfit JeM, said Foreign Secretary VK Gokhale.
Sachin joined the nation in hailing the Indian Air Force and wrote, “Our niceness should never be comprehended as our weakness. I salute the IAF, Jai Hind.”
