Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf has been rested for the final three matches of his side’s ODI series against Australia.
The team management had previously indicated that this series would be used to test Pakistan’s bench strength, and with Ashraf certain to be included in his country’s Men’s Cricket World Cup plans, the opportunity has been taken to give him some time off.
With five seamers already in the squad, no replacement has been named. Pakistan currently trail 2-0 in the five-match series.
