Veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh believes his Mumbai Indians teammate Jasprit Bumrah will be the best bowler at the upcoming 2019 World Cup.
“Bumrah is amongst the top three pacers in world cricket at the moment. He’s been winning us games. He’s at his best when he’s attacking the batsman. I’m definitely gunning for Bumrah as the best bowler in the World Cup,” said Yuvraj, who bagged the Man of the Tournament award in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph.
“I don’t play him in the nets. I tell him not to bowl to me,” he said when asked if it was difficult for the batsmen to face him in the nets.
Bumrah has picked up 29 wickets in 18 games since the start of 2018 and played a key role in the Men in Blue’s historic ODI series win in Australia, earlier this year.
