Shammi Silva, the president of Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has been nominated in International Cricket Council (ICC) audit and HR committee’s. The appointments were made during the ICC’s recently concluded meetings in UK.
Shammi, who served as treasurer at SLC in his previous tenure, became the president of the board in February this year.
Apart from Shammi, the ICC audit committee consists current ICC chairman Shashank Manohar, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) president Ehsan Mani and India’s top businesswoman and one of the board director of Amazon Indira Nooyi.
Likewise, ICC HR committee consists Bangladesh Nazmul Hassan, England’s Tony Brian.
