Shammi Silva led administration at Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has approved an additional allowance of Rs. 50,000/- per month for its International venues manager Godfrey Dabrera, Cricket Age reliably learns.
Godfrey, who was on radar of International Cricket Council (ICC) some time back, is still holding International venues manager post is another mystery of Sri Lanka Cricket!
However, even after being on ICC radar, Godfrey remains one of the most influential figure in Sri Lanka cricket, since he is considered the right hand of banned former SLC President Thilanga Sumathipala and left hand of present president Shammi Silva!
Cricket Age has the access of a SLC Management Committee (MC) document, that says that Godfrey has been given the additional allowance.
“The committee having noted Mr. Dabrera request and the recommendation of the CEO, approved to grant Mr. Dabrera an additional Rs. 50,000/- per month with effect from March 1st 2019” the MC document reads.
This is another action of Shammi Silva to impress the Punchi Borella.
