There are still a few days left for Christmas but India skipper Virat Kohli has already ushered into the joyful season. Dressed as Santa Claus, Virat Kohli paid a surprise visit to a shelter home in Kolkata and distributed gifts among the kids that brought smiles to their faces.
In a video released by Star Sports, Virat Kohli turned into a secret Santa and met the kids in the shelter home. The India skipper interacted with the kids. The kids were asked whether they wanted to meet Virat Kohli and upon receiving a positive answer, the 31-year-old took off his fake beard and the Santa cap that left the kids surprised.
“These moments are very special for me. All these kids cheer for us throughout the year. And I had a great time to bringing joy to all these kids. Merry Christmas and a happy new year,” Virat Kohli said in the video.
Virat Kohli and Team India will play West Indies in Cuttack on Sunday in the deciding ODI of the 3-match series. West Indies won the series opener in Chennai but India thrashed the visitors in Vizag to level the series 1-1.
