Aruna De Silva, the controversial head of administration at Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has secretly deleted five days CCTV footage of head office at Maitland place on the instructions of one of the top official, Cricket Age Exclusive learns. More shockingly, a security official was also involved in this mysterious scam, that has put the functioning of SLC in question.
According to sources, Aruna De Silva, who is fast becoming more and more notorious with his Punchi Borella centric approach while running the SLC as head of administration, has deleted five days CCTV footage secretly, without the knowledge of anyone, apart from involved ‘peoples‘.
More shockingly, SLC Security official – Roshan Gunathilike – was also involved in this scam, as obiously without his knowledge, it was impossible for Aruna to delete CCTV footage!
However, the scam has many more folds! When Cricket Age inquired further, it learnt that after SLC secretary Mohan De Silva came to know about this scam, he took it seriously and immediately lodged a complain to Roshan Gunathilike.
However, within no time, Mohan De Silva mysteriously withdrew his complain!
That raises serious questions against SLC.
What was in that five days CCTV footage?
On whom instructions, Aruna De Silva deleted the CCTV footage?
Who gave instructions to Roshan Gunathilike to cooperate Aruna De Silva in this scam?
Also, serious questions raises over the role of Mohan De Silva as well.
What prompted Mohan De Silva to immediately lodge the complain on this at first place?
What information he got regarding this?
Most importantly, on whom instructions, or why Mohan De Silva withdrew his complain?
These are very serious questions and a serious breach of functioning, where top SLC officials and administrators are now deleting the CCTV footage even!
The newly appointed Sports Minister Must order for an immediate investigation and suspend Aruna De Silva and Roshan Gunathilike till then. Mohan De Silva also must be questioned, as his act also raises several questions!
This could happen by mistake also. But, then, SLC must clarify, what prompted Aruna De Silva to take such an extreme action, first time in Sri Lanka cricket history!
Most importantly, that top person of SLC must be exposed, who is the mastermind behind this scam at highest level!
