Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) newly hired lady Internal auditor’s ‘Incompetent’ act has angerd board CEO Ashley De Silva and payment accountant Kamalika Jayasekera big time, Cricket Age reliably learns.
According to sources, on treasurer Lasantha Wickramarathne recommendation, SLC has recently appointed a lady internal auditor named Prashanthi to check accountants work. However, she has messed up the whole audit query answer process and it has angered both Ashley and Kamalika.
“The lady audit manager was asked by Mr. Lasantha to reply and she is messing up the whole audit query answer process” an insider at SLC told Cricket Age.
Kamalika, a proficient accountant, was till now shouldering the responsibility as Acting Head Of Finance (HOF). However, now the SLC has advertised for the HOF post.
“Not only she (Kamalika), lady internal auditor’s continues blunders have angered Mr. Ashley as well” the insider added further.
