Ashes: Shane Warne suggests four big changes in England line-up for Boxing Day Test

Legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne said that England have a lot of thinking to do going into the third Ashes match, the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) having been 2-0 down in the series after losing the second game at Adelaide by 275 runs.

England were hammered by Australia by 9 wickets in the first Test at the Gabba and despite Australia being without two of their lead bowlers in skipper Pat Cummins and Jos Hazlewood, they were just too good for the visitors in the day-night clash as the hosts now have a 9/9 record in the pink-ball Test matches.

Warne too had his say as he suggested four changes in the England line-up going into the Boxing Day Test. Warne said, “Congrats to the Aussies on a hard fought win. England have a lot to do heading to Melbourne as they are now 2-0 down. They must start by picking the correct team including a spinner for the conditions. Crawley, Wood, Bairstow & Leach would make my team. For Oz Cummins for Neeser.”

If Australia are able to win the Boxing Day Test at the iconic MCG, they not only will retain the urn but also take an unassailable lead in the five-match series.
