Incompetent Jerome Jayaratne has once again been recalled to the game’s governing body’s headquarter in the Island, Cricket Age reliably learns. Tim McCaskill, who was serving as head of national cricket development, has replaced Jerome as High Performance Manager at Khetterama.
“Jerome has been recalled by the board’s hierarchy. Accordingly, he will be once again overseeing as COO at Maitland Place” a SLC top official told Cricket Age.
However, few at Khetterama claims that former legend Aravinda de Silva led so called Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has sent back Jerome to Maitland Place.
“TAC did not want him at HPC” an Insider told Cricket Age.
McCaskill, meanwhile, has been rewarded for his impactful contribution in Sri Lanka U19 Team’s Youth World Cup journey in West Indies recently.
“He single handedly shaped U19 side’s campaign in West Indies. If not for head Coach Avishka Gunawardene’s suspicious decisions in the crucial games, the result would have been much better” a Cricket expert in Sri Lanka told Cricket Age.
