Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya is in prime form in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the IPL 2022, Pandya is in the second position behind Jos Buttler in the list of highest run-getters. The GT captain has scored 295 runs from six innings at an average of 73.75 so far.
On Saturday also, he scored brilliant 67 runs off 49 balls. GT defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by eight runs. Speaking at the post-match presentation, Pandya said that he was not thinking about his comeback in team India and was focussing on the IPL 2022.
“I don’t think it’s my (India) comeback anyway and secondly I don’t focus on my comeback. I focus on the game which I play,” Pandya said at the post-match media conference.
He further added, “At the moment, I am playing IPL and will focus on IPL, then will see where the future takes. It’s never in my hands now. I focus on the team which I’m playing in. We are doing well and I’m very happy.”
