Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Thursday officially handed over US$ 2 million to the country’s Health Sector to purchase essential medicines.
The Board also donated LKR 22.5 million sponsorship grant for the athletes taking part in the Commonwealth Games 2022.
In addition, LKR 100 million were donated to the National Sports Fund.
On Cricket front, Sri Lanka will lock horns with Australia tomorrow at Galle, in their attempt to draw the two test match series. Australia are leading the series 1-0, following a dominant win in the first test.
