Sri Lanka’s top order batter Avishka Fernado has fully recovered from his right knee surgery and is eying on returning to competitive cricket during this year’s Lanka Premier League (LPL).
Avishka, a dashing right-hander, underwent successful knee surgery in Melbourne in February this year.
He was advised for 9 month recovery period by Dr. David Young. After 6 months rest, he has already started practice at Khetterma.
Before Knee Issue, Avishka was a permanent member in shorter formats for Sri Lanka and has so far represented his country in 26 ODI’s and 32 T20Is.
